I’m Heather Denison, a freelance photographer and writer, with a mission to capture the beauty around us, whether in black and white, color, or words. My dad gave me my first camera the summer before my senior year of college. It was his old Yashica camera. I spent hours that summer driving the hills of north Mississippi. Everything caught my eye, as if being seen for the first time. 20 years later, I'm still marveled by the beauty of nature and everyday objects just waiting to be photographed.
